AMD to raise prices

Posted on Saturday, March 25 2006 @ 3:00 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck
The Inquirer heard from reliable sources that AMD will bump prices of its Athlon 64 X2 processor by between 2 and 5 dollars.
Meanwhile AMD will drop prices on its Sempr0n range, although this doesn't seem to cause most resellers and distributors to do much but yawn and carry on selling Opteron 285s. And the price of Opteron 100s is going through a Rambus like situation. Some prices will go up and some prices will go down. Prices change on April the 10th.
