Second SLI Turion 64 laptop to show up, the Arima W830-DA is following the 19" Clevo M590K notebook with a 17" TFT version of the powerful NVIDIA nForce4 SLI chipset and the NVIDIA G70M/G71M Ge7800 graphic card, with MXM connector allowing future upgrade of the graphic part. On the resolution side the W830-DA can go as high as UXGA mode with an impressive 1600x1200. Thanks to its Socket 754, the Arima W830-DA can accept AMD Turion 64 MT30 to MT40, AMD Turion 64 ML30 to ML40 and AMD Mobile Sempron from 2800+ to 3200+. In single GPU configuration with 73W (35W CPU + 38W GPU) consumption, a 12 cells Li-ion battery is necessary for a 2.30 hours autonomy.
