Electronic Arts has released the first batch of screenshots and the hi-res version of the GDC 2006 trailer of Crysis, showcasing this first person shooter game for PC in the works at Crytek and based on new intellectual property. Crysis is powered by CryENGINE 2 that features dynamic day/night cycle, fully interactive environments, sunrays and diffuse transmission, real time soft shadows, soft particles, interactive/destructible environments, volumetric clouds, and advanced shader technology. Crysis will be launched in Q1 2007.
