What will Intel call its desktop platform?

The Inquirer wonders how Intel will call its business desktop platform, codenamed Averill.
With Paul Otellini last week confirming that a new brand will be added alongside Centrino for mobile PCs and Viiv for media centres in an announcement due tomorrow, the betting market looks mighty light on action. Clearly, Intel has sworn marketing lieutenants to vows of silence but smart INQUIRER readers might like to make a few informed guesses.

What about keeping the code name Averill? Highly unlikely given that Intel hasn’t yet let an internal name morph into a brand to our knowledge.
