Dailytech noticed Dell has launched three new dual-core notebooks.
The Inspiron e1405 and Inspiron 640m share the same design, but have differing options and are marketed to two different customers (e1405 for consumers, 640m for business). The Latitude D520 is aimed squarely at business customers.

The 5 pound e1405/640m can be equipped with processors ranging from a 1.66GHz Core Solo to a 2.0GHz Core Duo processor and support up to 2GB of DDR2 memory. The notebooks feature 14.1" screens (1280x800 or 1440x900), integrated Intel graphics and a standard CD-RW/DVD drive (an 8x DVD burner is optional). Prices start at $799 for the e1405 and $749 for the 640m.
