DigiTimes reports MSI has joined Intel's Cedar Wood program and some of its Intel 945 chipset based motherboards and two video cards received an Intel Viiv Recommended Material List (RML) approval:
MSI’s products that have passed Intel RML test procedures include three motherboards, 945GM2 (MS-7210), 945P Neo2 (MS-7176) and 945GMB (MS-7183) and two graphics cards, NX6600 and RX1300Pro, the company said. Intel's website lists MSI's ATI RX1300 Pro and Nvidia NX6600GT as receiving its RML approval on April 4. However, prior to publication, the site only listed motherboards from Asustek Computer, Gigabyte Technology and Intel as having RML approval.

MSI's press release confirmed a DigiTimes 28 March report describing the Channel Marketplace program as being codenamed "Cedar Wood" and being first started in Taiwan, Russia, Turkey and Thailand on April 1.
