01/2003: Thermaltake Technology, the leading Thermal Solution provider today released their latest Volcano Series: Volcano 11 - Xaser Version. Volcano 11 is said to efficiently cool off AMD AthlonXP processors up to 3400+. Utilizing Copper Soldering technology and whole copper heat sink design, Volcano 11 is able to greatly increase surface area while keeping weight at minimum.

Specially designed "X" fan grille provides protection against accidental injuries and unwanted objected while the fan unit is operating. Furthermore, it is constructed for maximum airflow.

Volcano 11 is equipped with the popular Smart Fan II to give users ability to take control of the fan's performance. Automatic Temperature Control enables Smart Fan II to adjust its fan speed according to the CPU temperature: 1300 rpm at 20 ºC~ 4800 rpm at 55 ºC. Manual Speed Control allows the fan to be adjusted toward each user's own preferences. Smart Fan II has a maximum airflow output at 75.70 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute).

PCI Fan Speed Controller can be fitted into an empty PCI slot for users to adjust the fan speed conveniently.

Availability: Volcano 11 - Xaser Series will be released in March 2003.
