The TechZone recaps the Sony Media Briefing at E3 2006.
Kaz Hirai kicked off the show for Sony and it’s quite funny watching him speak. You can tell he’s trying to be exciting and dynamic up there, but it just doesn’t work for him. As echoed by our E3 correspondent last year, he’s not exactly Tony Robbins up there. He does a sub-par job of reading from the teleprompters and he kept throwing out the occasional yelp to hype up the crowd…..pretty lame. His counterpart for the show was Phil Harrison. He’s a lot better at speaking, but he’s got somewhat of a pompous demeanor with his accent..
