Windows Live Local beta nothing to get excited about?

ARS Technica has taken another look at Windows Live Local and wasn't really impressed:
As good as all of that sounds, there's nothing eye-poppingly new and different about the updated Microsoft map service at first blush, just another drag-around AJAX map. The purported importance of the traffic information pales a bit when you consider that Yahoo's beta mapping tool already has live traffic info, and the existing MSN MapPoint does, too..
