According to VR-Zone's sources the 945 chipset from Intel can support the upcoming Conroe processors.
We all knew that the upcoming 965 Broadwater boards will support Conroe and even the good old 865 board from Asrock with VRD11 design guideline can run Conroe.

Now we have heard that at least one manufacturer will be revising their current 945 boards to support Conroe as well. As for 975X with Conroe supporting boards, it is quite a lukewarm stand from the motherboard manufacturers.

So far we heard that one maker chose to drop that completely from their product line. However MSI revised their 975X Platinum to v2.0 and DFI will launch their 975X/G.
