LG.Philips LCD will present a 14.1-inch flexible e-book display at SID 2006:
The display has a resolution of over one megapixel and can be viewed from any angle. It uses natural light rather than a backlight, making it thin and power efficient, according to the company.

Developed with LG.Philips LCD's proprietary technology, the flexible active-matrix (AM) display produces images on a bendable screen. TFT arranged on metal foil rather than glass gives the display its flexibility, noted the company.
