Sky+ releases mobile TV recording service

Sky has unleashed a free service that lets people set their Sky+ boxes to record programmes using their cell phones:
Subscribers can text a request or browse a seven-day television guide on their phone and choose the programmes to record.

Sky then contacts their box using the phone connection and sets it to record those choices.

Users must download an application to their 2.5G, 3G or GPRS phones to access the Remote Record TV guide.
