Intel Merom to be launched on July 23?

HKEPC saw new roadmaps from Intel and writes the chip giant is planning to release Merom together with Conroe on July 23.
Intel indicates that the decision was made according to their similarity in technology used and structure. It’s meaningless to launch them separately. Yet the shipping time of Merom is unchanged to avoid any change in scheduled plans of manufacturers.

Intel is going to shipping the following five Merom based processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7600 (2.33GHz/4MB L2/667MHz FSB), T7400 (2.16GHz/4MB L2/667MHz FSB), T7200 (2GHz/4MB L2/667MHz FSB), T5600 (1.8GHz/2MB L2/667MHz FSB) and T5500 (1.66GHz/2MB L2/667MHz FSB), priced at US$637, US$423, US$294, US$241 and US$209 respectively.
A price cut for Intel's Yonah processors is expected to follow soon. More details and some pictures over here.
