Creative has released the Zen Vision W in Singapore. This portable media player features a 16:9 widescreen 4.3-inch display with a 720 x 480 pixels resolution.
At least in Singapore, the Zen Vision W will be released in two versions: a 30-Gbyte and a 60GB model. Both will go on sale in September in Singapore, with the 30-Gbyte model priced at S$649, or about $412 in U.S. dollars, while the 60GB version will cost S$749, or about $475 in dollars.

The included battery pack will power the device for about 4.5 hours, according to Creative.

Feature-wise, the player supports the MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4-SP, MJPEG ands XViD video codecs, as well as generic MP3 files. Since the player supports Microsoft Windows Media 11 digital rights management technology, users can also load in music from the MTV Urge service, as well as Windows Media 10 services such as Napster to Go and MSN Music, plus others. The player also includes an FM tuner, albeit with no listed FM recording capabilities.
