ATI offered a beta version of its Catalyst drivers that will enable Crossfire support on Intel P965 Express-based motherboards.
In October, ATI will come out with the 6.10 version of the drivers, when it is expected to announce officially dual-graphics-card support for P965-based motherboards.

The drivers were originally written for ATI's Radeon X1950 PRO (RV570 core) and Radeon X1650 XT (RV560 core) graphics processing units (GPUs), which will reportedly be launched on October 17.

The recent introduction of a CrossFire-ready P965 motherboard from Micro Star International (MSI) had created some confusion since ATI had not officially announced on its website that CrossFire support would be featured on products utilizing Intel's 965 chipsets, according to market sources.
