Posted on Saturday, September 23 2006 @ 03:06:40 CEST by

Intel will release the Pentium D 935 and Core 2 Duo E4300 desktop processors, priced at $133 and $166 respectively, in January 2007.
In the meantime, unit prices of Intel's Pentium D 925 and 915 will be reduced to US$113 and US$93 respectively, according to the makers.

Intel is also planning to make additional price cuts for its single-core processors during January, next year, in addition to an estimated price reduction of 7-58% for its Pentium 4 line. Unit prices of Intel's Celeron D processors will be cut by up to 29.8%, indicated the makers. Simultaneously, Intel will release the Celeron D 347 and 365 CPUs, manufactured using 65-nanometer (65nm) process technology, accelerating a transition to 65nm for its Celeron D lineup, according to makers.
