DigiTimes reports Wal-Mart has cut prices for Panasonic 42-inch Plasma TVs by almost 30 percent, from $1,794 to $1,294.
Due to fierce price competition, prices for second-tier LCD TVs in the US are now priced at US$1,299, with those for first-tier brands priced between US$1,899-1,999, according to Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO), as quoted by the paper.
