NVIDIA GeForce 8800 doesn't have a DirectX 10 driver yet

Posted on Friday, November 10 2006 @ 12:09:18 CET by

The Inq reports a DirectX 10 driver for NVIDIA's GeForce 8800 graphics cards will follow next week.
Well, we couldn't, as the Vista driver is not ready yet. It will be not this week. You might say that Vista is still at Release Candidate 2 status but it as we know, it has already been released to manufacture.

Andrew Fear, a software product manager and the driver guy, is working hard to make this driver possible. We heard that if there are no major delays, the G80 Vista driver should be ready at some point next week.
