Excessively online gaming website reviewed

Excessively.net is a place where you can play free online games. They have all kinds of stuff like action games, adventure, arcade, beat'em up, shooting, sports, racing and more. They got a bunch of Flash games and they also offer a bunch of old Classic NES games which you can play through their Java-based console emulator.

In the Classic NES game section you can find a bunch of Super Mario games, Final Fantasy I and II, Metal Gear, Monopoly, Pac Man, Jaws, Karate Kid, Star Wars and more.

Now in this sponsored review (which doesn't mean I have to drop my objectivity) I'm going to take a look at a couple of games. I'm just going to randomly pick three games and describe my experiences.

Lets start with Bloody Rage. This is a Mortal Kombat like fighting game. One of the things I didn't really like is that the games open in a new popup window. It would be better if they just opened in a normal browser window. In this game you can choose between a bunch of characters, there's even a Spiderman character, a Hulk-like one and one that looks like Wolverine. I decided to pick the Spiderman-like character. First you see the controls and you have to break ten barrels to learn the controls before you can enter the tournament.

Just like in the real Mortal Kombat this game features a bunch of cool combo's. You can throw fireballs, explosives, do special moves, ... It's a pretty neat game to keep you buzy for a while.

Another game I'm going to take a closer look at is Drag Dracer v3, this is obviously a racing game. I choose for the tuner gaming mode and start with the easy game level which gives me 50,000 credits to start with.

First you need to buy a car, you go to the garage where there's a huge selection between dozens of car makers like Aston-Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche and also other less exotic cars. You only have a limited amount of money so I decided to race with the Honda CRX car. You can tune it a bit and then you can start racing. Graphics-wise it's not really impressive but just like Bloody Rage it's good to keep you amused for a while.

The last game I'm going to take a look at is Pedal to the Metal, a racing game where you have to race around a magnetic track without derailing your car. A loaded this game but couldn't really play it because the Flash game's window was too small. A piece of the game got cut off so it wasn't really playable. Looks like this is a game that will need to be fix.

Overall this looks like a nice gaming site. There are already hundreds of these online gaming sites but I'm sure you'll be able to waste some time on this site too cause it has some pretty cool games.
