More 30-inch LCD displays introduced

DigiTimes reports more and more first-tier LCD vendors like Dell, Samsung and HPa re increasing the availability of their 30-inch LCD displays.
Last week, Dell introduces its first 30-inch widescreen LCD monitor (UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC). The features of the product include resolution of 2,560×1,600 (WQXGA), height-adjustable stand with tilt and swivel capabilities, integrated 9-in-2 media card reader and four USB 2.0 ports for connecting devices such as digital still cameras (DSCs) and printers. The model also has a 92% color gamut, utilizing a wide cold-cathode fluorescent lighting (W-CCFL), which is ideal for gaming application, according to Dell.

Dell expects to offer the 30-inch model later this quarter in the US, with prices starting at US$1,699, said the company.
