Why Linux gaming sucks part 2

Extremetech has the second part of their editorial on why gaming on Linux operating systems sucks.
In my previous column, I took a look at why gaming sucks so bad on Linux. As you can imagine the Linux faithful took me to task for my heretical views, but is there any substance to their hysteria? I'll dissect some of their feedback and see if their arrows hit the mark or if they are simply out to lunch.
