Happy New Year!! Have fun!

Happy New Year folks!! By the time my CMS (content management system) publishes this post we should be in the year 2007 here in Flanders.

First, I'd like to wish all our readers and sponsors the best for 2007 and the years thereafter! Thanks for all the support

Lets take a look at some of the plans I have for DV Hardware in 2007:
  • Relaunch the DV Hardware Forum. Until a few months ago DV Hardware had a forum but I had to remove it because of excessive spam. There were literally thousands of spam accounts and hundreds of spam posts. I'm planning to launch a new vBulletin forum on dvhardware.net/forum somewhere in early 2007. The kickoff of the new DVH Forum will probably be followed with a contest to get more members

  • A new design. The design of DV Hardware is getting kinda old. A new better looking design is definitely needed.

  • Another thing DV Hardware needs to get more visitors is new reviews. I'm planning to publish a lot more reviews next year. To achieve this goal I need new reviewers. You can contact me at thomas.dm@dvhardware.net if you would like to become one of DV Hardware's reviewers. Provide some information about yourself, where you live, your PC and if possible include a review of a product you own.

To become one of DV Hardware's reviewers you need to have a lot of experience with computers and technology. You also need to be able to write fluent English articles and you need a digital camera to take pictures of the review products. This is not a paid job, but in most cases you will be able to keep the review samples as a compensation.

  • Make new holiday logos. The "Happy New Year" banner you see below looks kinda old, I've been using it since 2004 lol. I think I'm also going to shelve out some money to buy some nice looking logos for the review section. Like some new "editor's choice" logos etc.

  • I hope you'll be having a lot of fun tonight

    Greetz,
    Thomas De Maesschalck
