LG BH100 Blu-ray HD DVD player launch on February 4?

I've read some rumours that this device may not even be launched at all but according to Engadget we can expect the first Blu-ray/HD DVD combo player from LG on February 4th.

According to their tipster the LG BH100is already live in LG's system.

This isn't as surprising as seeing it on Best Buy's website almost instantly after the announcement, but we're still wondering what LG plans to do if the DVD forum disapproves its lack of support for HDi.

We understand that rules are rules, but it's hard to imagine the DVD forum suing the only company to make a standalone player other than Toshiba.
