One in eight guys would swap girlfriend for a gadget

Posted on Saturday, January 20 2007 @ 21:05:38 CET by

A new study found that 13% of men would swap their partner for a must-have gadget like an iPod, a LCD HDTV, home cinema systems or other things.

On the other hand, only 6% of the women said they would swap their boyfriend for a gadget.
Although wives/girlfriends may worry about their Christmas purchases, they can rest assured that most men wouldn’t choose a gadget over a partner.

The survey's findings also revealed a clear generational gap with 17% of 16-24-year-olds prepared to swap their partners, compared to only 2% of 55-64-year-olds and 3% of the over 65s.
