Asus A8r notebook with ATI Mobility Radeon X2300

Asus today announced its new Asus A8Jr notebook which features the Mobility Radeon X2300 GPU. This new GPU is part of ATI's upcoming Radeon X2000 series which hasn't been officially announced yet. This new GPU family will also include ATI's new top model, the R600, which will likely be launched at the Radeon X2800 XTX.

Much details aren't available about the Mobility Radeon X2300 (codenamed M71), except that it uses the HyperMemory technology and that you can run Windows Vista's Aero interface on it.
