Posted on Tuesday, August 19 2003 @ 17:46 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck| The SL-848P-L mainboard can work with Intel Pentium 4 or Celeron in Socket 478 form-factor processors with 400, 533 or 800MHz Quad Pumped Bus and the Hyper-Threading technology, but will not be too fast with the latest chips because it only works with up to 2GB of single-channel PC2100, PC2700 or PC3200 memory. Certainly, the mainboard may become a nice solution for mainstream or office computers where performance is not highly required, but will be not a good buy for gamers or enthusiasts. However, to address more types of end-users, the SL-848P-L also features a number of overclocking capabilities, such as easy BIOS adjustments of PSB settings, Vcore Settings, AGP Voltage, DIMM Voltage, and CPU Multiplier settings.
