Our friends from Chile Hardware uncovered some more secrets about AMD's upcoming RS780 chipset.

This chipset will apparently support both DDR2 and DDR3:
  • DDR2 1066MHz, impressive because JEDEC wont release a standard and AMD normally follows JEDEC, will be interesting to see real support of DDR2 1066.
  • DDR3 1333MHz, this might be a new thing AMD CPUs might already have integrated DDR3 capabilities into their IMC
  • They also report the integrated graphics of the RS780 will be able to use up to 256MB of the system memory.
