NVIDIA going in sea with UMC

The Inq writes that NVIDIA will be using UMC (United Microelectronics Corporation) to produce chips for his recently acquired MediaQ. MediaQ is a company specialized in providing graphics and multimedia technology for wireless mobile devices.
UMC has never had Nvidia business before, the newspaper claims, so it's something of a reminder to TSMC and to IBM that the graphics firm is a customer and customers have choices.

The paper quotes Roman as saying that Nvidia graphics chips will stay at the heart of Microsoft Media Centre PCs, and that notebook computers and workstations will further his firms marketing and sales desires.
