Maxtor unveils the Maxtor OneTouch

Maxtor today launched a new external harddisk drive, the Maxtor OneTouch. These external harddisks with stylish aluminium case are primary avaible in three different versions ; FireWire, USB or a combo versiond that can work with both.

The USB model is only available in 120GB, with 2MB of cache. It runs at 7200RPM.

The FireWire version is avaible in a 250GB version, spinning at 7200RPM with 8MB cache.

The USB and FireWire combo device is avaible in 200GB, 250GB or 300GB version. The 200GB and 250GB version are spinning at 7200RPM and have 8MB cache. The 300GB model runs at 5400RPM and has only 2MB cache.

Special about these harddrives is the OneTouch button, when you hit it the drive will automatically backup the files that you have configured earlier.
