Fujitsu halts 1.8-inch HDD plans to focus on SSD

Fujitsu decided to cancel its plans to produce 1.8" HDDs for mobile devices. Instead the company will focus on solid state disks as there's more interest in this type of drives these days.

These SSD drives are lighter and faster than mechanical hard drives, but they are more expensive.
