Corsair to launch Pro Series - XMS memory

Posted on Friday, September 12 2003 @ 15:46:13 CEST by

[H]ardOCP reports that Corsair is going to introduce a new type of extreme memory ; the Pro Series - XMS. Special about these is that they have a few LEDs on top, which act like a VU meter to show the memory activity.

Corsair Gets Flashy:
The guys over at Corsair have been talking about doing this for a while now and it has finally come to light....literally. Corsairs' new product, "Pro Series - XMS", has a series of LEDs on the top edge of the module casing that show the "activity" of the DIMM. We have not got full specs on the process yet, but we did get some working samples to share with you.

On the third picture you can see the difference between the normal XMS series and the Pro XMS series. A video to show how it works can be found here (click on the image).
