Overclocking voor newbies

Posted on Tuesday, August 27 2002 @ 01:43:20 CEST by

BlargOC heeft een klein gidsje over overclocking geschreven , speciaal bedoeld voor newbies bekend te maken met overclocking.
Overclocking is the act of making a piece of hardware operate at a speed higher than what it was designed for. Just a few items that can be overclocked include, memory, video cards, processors, and mainboards. Why would you want to overclock? Everyone is motivated by different things. Some want to have a faster PC without spending the money on new components while others do it simply for the thrill (I fall somwhere between the two).
