OCZ debuts DDR3-1333MHz CL7 memory

OCZ announced the newest OCZ DDR3 product addition. At 1333MHz, the OCZ PC3-10666 Platinum edition is rated to run CL7-7-7, featuring the ideal balance of sheer DDR3 speed and enhanced timings so users can truly take these next generation platforms to greater heights.

“We engineered our newest DDR3 edition with a focus on maximizing performance of DDR3 technology,” said Ryan Petersen, OCZ CEO. “Our new Platinum PC3-10666 achieves the low latencies required to see a performance uplift for enthusiasts upgrading their systems to DDR3.”

OCZ Platinum DDR3 modules will be available in 2x512MB and 2x1024MB dual channel kits. These modules are currently available in limited quantity and OCZ has been working closely with the leading platform providers to ensure optimal performance and compatibility on all the next generation computing platforms that will be introduced later this year.
