A Letter to AMD’s CEO from NGOHQ

Posted on Tuesday, June 26 2007 @ 03:37:06 CEST by

You claimed that Intel is a monopolist and Microsoft isn’t. As far as we know, Intel is not forcing software developers to write software and games that will work only on Intel’s hardware. No, they are not doing it. However, Microsoft is taking related actions towards Apple for example, so Intel and Microsoft are even in the same ‘Monopolist abuser’ league.

I really think you guys took it too far with this Intel US Antitrust case like they are responsible for World-War II. Yes, Intel is big and uses a lot of tactics which some of them may become illegal, but you can’t blame them for everything. You need two to Tango, Intel cannot dance alone, you’re dancing with them and instead of working on AMD and offer better quality to the consumers, and you spend money on lawyers and ridiculous antitrust laws which will lead you nowhere."

Read on over at NGO HQ.
