Logitech has released two new webcams: the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 and Logitech QuickCam Pro for notebooks. Both webcams are capable of recording 720p HD video at up to 30 frames per second.

The Register reports:
Both models have Carl Zeiss Tessar lenses to make images exceedingly sharp, apparently. Each is also capable of taking up to two-megapixel still s and include specialist technology to help you sound just right on that video call.

The 9000 comes on a flexible universal base, which Logitech claim allows it to be positioned on nearly any monitor, while the QuickCam Pro for notebooks is has a spring-loaded clip for attaching to laptop lids - and LCD monitors of any kind, we expect.
