HP has a nice new tablet PC, the HP Compaq 2710p. This product features a LED-backlit 12.1" LCD display and is based on the Intel Santa Rosa platform..

The notebook is only 1.11" thick and weighs 3.6 pounds if you use it with a 6-cell battery. It uses ULV Core 2 Duo processors and supports up to 4GB of 667MHz DDR2 memory.

Buyers can choose between two different WiFi 802.11a/g/n modules, optional EV-DO or HSDPA adapters and there's also Bluetooth 2.0+EDR support. Graphics are kinda sucky though, you can only get it with a Intel X3100.

The HP Compaq 2710p Tablet PC will be available later this month. Prices will start at $1,649.
