Call of Duty 4 first impressions

Posted on Wednesday, July 18 2007 @ 02:21:53 CEST by

CoD4 was presented at the E3 show last week. Firingsquad checked out the demo and published their first impressions:
The demo showed off a helicopter drop of a group of British SAS operatives onboard a cargo ship in the middle of the ocean..at night...during a massive storm. Yep, its going to be that kind of game. The operatives were sent in to retrieve a special piece of cargo that is supposedly on board. The team moves their way from the front of the ship with their suppressed machine guns and pretty much shot up every enemy combatant they saw on sight. At one point the helicopter that dropped you and your team on board the ship took matters into their own hands, firing their mini-gun on the bridge of the ship to soften the opponents up for you. If you can imagine all of the shooting, all of the rain and all of the waves happening at the same time you get the idea of the sheer amount of action just this one level has.
