Intel discontinues Xeon 2.20GHz processor

Intel also announced that they will discontinue the production of the Intel Xeon 2.20GHz processor made on the 0.13 micron process with 512KB L2 cache. Reason for this discontinuance is like usual because demand has shifted to a higher performance class.

Last shipment of the Boxed version will be at Jun 11, 2004 and the last Tray version will be shipped at Nov 10, 2006.
