Auzentech X-Fi Prelude preview

Posted on Monday, September 03 2007 @ 17:10:11 CEST by

VR Zone has another exclusive, they got their hands on a sample of the upcoming Auzentech X-Fi Prelude. They haven't tested the card yet but have published some unboxing photos on their site, over here.

The Prelude from Auzentech is the first non-Creative sound card on the market that uses Creative's X-Fi technology.
The Auzen X-FI Prelude 7.1 soundcard marks the first time Creative has permitted a third-party soundcard vendor to use the Creative X-FI chipset in its own soundcard design. The Auzen X-Fi Prelude 7.1 soundcard will fully support EAX 5.0 and have the same expandability as the Auzen X-Meridian 7.1. Additional features such as Dolby Digital Live, DTS Interactive, and DTS NeoPC will be available soon via driver updates.
The Prelude will be available real soon for about $199.
