ATI RV670 to have Display Port

AMD's upcoming 55nm RV670 will be one of the first graphics cards to feature a Display Port, FUD Zilla reports.

The RV670 will support display port which is the next generation display connector. The good news about this connector is that it’s backward compatible with HDMI at least to some level.

All the chips in 2008 will come with certain Display port support and I am sure that you will start seeing display port based monitors very soon now.
