Use Wii mote as lightsaber in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Posted on Monday, September 24 2007 @ 08:10:44 CEST by

Last week LucasArts officially announced a Star Wars game for the Nintendo Wii:
The game in question is the Wii version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, which was also announced today (previous versions of the game have been known about for some time, through official and unofficial channels). Krome Studios is handling the Wii, PS2, and PSP versions of the game while LucasArts is developing the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 version internally. n-Space is also handling a Nintendo DS version of the game.

But the sword-swinging action will be exclusive to the Wii version, and even then, it will only be available in an exclusive “duel mode.” The description in the release says that this duel mode will be a multiplayer affair.
