Pictures of prototype PCI Express card from ATi

Bit-Tech has managed to take a few pictures of a PCI Express prototype board from ATi, a Radeon9600 to be exactly. PCI Express is a new I/O interface that will replace both PCI and AGP. The first chipset that will support PCI Express is the Intel Grantsdale. Yesterday we have posted a story about a report saying that PCI Express will have a quick adoption.
Whilst at an ATI shindig in old London Town last night, we managed to sneak off to the wazzeriaâ„¢ for 5 minutes with a pre-release PCI Express board that the Canadian chaps were showing off. With no NDAs in sight (although the same couldn't be said for drunken ATI execs), we thought you might like a peek at what we saw!!
