AMD Phenom CPUs to be cheaper than Intel's Core 2 Quad

Lots of negative news surrounds AMD these days and if they want to stay alive they will definitely need some success with their upcoming K10 processor series. A hopeful snip of news was published at FUD Zilla today, the site claims the K10 will be cheaper clock-to-clock than the Core 2 Quad from Intel.
This is AMDs only chance to get the face back and we can only hope that AMD will be better in clock per clock battle, of course for fallen AMD’s sake.

If AMD loses clock to clock versus 45 nanometre parts it will even have to drop the price lower. If we look at our crystal ball, AMD’s 2.4GHz part will be way cheaper than €250 or $280. This is just a price guideline as we are not aware of any price drops of the current 65 nanometre quad core parts.
