Smartphone market to triple in size during this year

HTC, the world first Microsoft smartphone makers predicts that the global smartphone market will triple in size during 2004.
He said the company will launch twice to three times as many as new smartphone and PDA models this year compared with last year. A built-in digital camera will be standard in the new models.

HTC finished last year with record revenues of NT$21.822 billion. The company said its fourth-quarter revenues hit a record NT$8.069 billion.
