SiS is ready for the Intel Prescott processors

Just after the official release of Intel his newest 90nm Pentium 4 CPUs (codenamed Prescott) SiS anounced that their SiS648FX, 655FX and 655TX support Intel his newest CPU.
The SiS648FX, 655FX and 655TX chipsets are designed for PC applications, integrating a high performance host interface for the Intel Pentium 4 HT 800 processor, and utilizing SiS MuTIOL 1G Technology for the fastest bus speed of any PC chipsets. The 648FX and 655FX/TX chipsets also feature SiS’ HyperStreaming™ Technology, which provides more efficient data transfer speeds for the demanding applications of today and tomorrow.

The new P4 Prescott processor from Intel is most advanced processor from Intel to date, using a new 90nm process for faster operation. The Prescott also features an updated Intel NetBurst Microarchitecture with a 1MB L2 cache for more increased transmission of data per clock cycle and improved Hyper-Threading Technology that allows one processor to act as two.

SiS Prescott-Ready chipsets have been widely adopted by numerous motherboard manufacturers, and over 20 models are market available from now on
