Arctic Cooling released an updated version of its Accelero S1 graphics card cooler to ensure compatibility with the latest graphics cards like the Radeon HD 3850, 3870, GeForce 8800 GT and GTS 512MB.

The Accelero S1 Rev.2 is a noiseless cooling solution with four heatpipes that transfer the heat through 32 aluminum fins. The Accelero S1 Rev. 2 now comes with a new flexible mounting mechanism, multiple screw hole sets and modifications to the heatpipes enabling it to fit a wider range of leading graphic cards.

Optimized fin design allows better air flow thus removing the heat more effectively. Together with the bundled RAM heat sinks and voltage regulator heat spreader, Accelero S1 Rev. 2 provides an all-round passive solution that achieves the best cooling performance.

This cooler costs 19.95EUR ($25.95) and is compatible with the following graphics cards:
  • ATI: Radeon HD 3870, 3850, 2600, 2400, X1950, X1900, X1800, X1650, X1600, X1550, X1300 series
  • NVIDIA: GeForce 8800GTS(G92), 8800GT, 8600, 8500, 8400, 7950GT, 7900, 7800, 7600, 7300, 6800, 6600 series (except 7X00 GS AGP)

  • Accelero S1 Rev. 2 can still be paired with the Turbo Module – the twin fans add-on, which further increases the potential power of Accelero S1 Rev. 2 with enhanced cooling performance under extremely quiet operation. Turbo Module helps boost up the GPU and memory overclockability, squeezing more graphic performance than ever before.
