DFI presents nForce3 and Grantsdale motherboards

DFI has announced a new generation of LANPARTY and INFINITY motherboards at CeBit 2004. These boards are based on NVIDIA's nForce 3 and Intel's Grantsdale.
The Latest LANPARTY members are LANPARTY 925X-T2 and nF3 ULTRA. LANPARTY 925X-T2 is embedded with Intel’s top performance chipset, the Alderwood & ICH6R, which supports the latest Pentium4 755-pin CPU. All the new technologies will not be absent from this new model such as the new standard for the world of memory, the Dual channel DDR2, and PCI Express interconnection for graphic accelerator and other add-on devices. 8-channel audio codec and high speed GbE LAN on PCI Express bus are also the standard of LANPARTY 925-T2 to enrich the quality of the multimedia experience. The LANPARTY nF3 ULTRA on the other hand, is the highest standard of the AMD K8 model. It equips with nVidia’s latest nForce3 ULTRA chipset that supports AMD latest 939-pin Athlon 64 FX and 64 CPU with 2000 MTps FSB. 8-channel audio support and GbE PHY LAN provided by Marvell are also the standard of this model. Both 925X-T2 and nF3 ULTRA are equipped with 4 SATA (RAID supported), 2 IEEE 1394 connections and 8 USB 2.0 ports. Of course, CMOS Reloaded will still be kept on all the LANPARTY models and all the features such as UV-sensitive slots, diagnostic LED, onboard power/reset switch, S/PDIF connectors, PC Transpo, FRONTX…etc will all be kept.

The INFINITY series will be adding two models as well, 915P-T INFINITY with the latest Intel Grantsdale chipset supported Pentium4 755-pin CPU and nF3 250Gb INFINITY with nVidia’s latest nForce3 250Gb chipset for AMD Athlon 64 754-pin CPU. 915P-T INFINITY is also equipped with 2 PCI Express x 1 slots and 1 PCI Express x 16 slots for graphic accelerated card. Other features included 8-channel audio, 4 SATA (RAID supported), GbE LAN, IEEE 1394 connections and USB ports are all the standard features for both 915P-T and nF3 250Gb models. CMOS Reloaded is still the key feature for all INFINITY models to maximize O.C. performance.
