Pictures of heatsinks for Intel Tejas and Yahok processors

Posted on Monday, March 22 2004 @ 20:43:50 CET by

The Inq has a picture of a heatsink developed by Zaward Corp. for Intel's upcoming Yahok server CPU and their Tejas.
Both seem to require employment of more expensive copper heat-pipe technology to assist thermal transfer from what must be very hot CPU dies to the aluminium fins.

As can be seen, the most, er, dramatic of these, for Yahok, utterly dwarfs the 120mm chassis fan in the background.
