FUD Zilla claims Intel will release a new 65nm Conroe processor by the end of this month. This chip will be called Core 2 Duo E2220 and it will be a dual-core part clocked at 2.4GHz.
It is a 200MHz faster version of currently available Dual Core E2200 version clocked at 2.2GHZ and the new E2220 works at 2.4GHZ, has FSB 800, 1MB cache and two cores.

All E2xx0 series are crippled to 1MB cache while E4xxx series CPUs have 2MB of cache. Both CPUs have a 65W TDP, but traditionally with these CPUs Intel is way below that number.
