Intel 45nm shortage to last throughout Q1 2008

FUD Zilla learned Intel won't be able to meet the high demand for its dual-core E8x00 and Q9x00 45nm processors:
Intel plans to solve this problem in early Q2 as it is working on shifting more production to 45nm. Intel even decided not to sample any mainstream quad and dual 45nm cores as the company knows that they are really good and once it does, it would create even more demand for 45nm cores.

Intel still has some control over demand and plans to make some PR noise after it gets some serious demand in. The only advice we can give to all off you who want one 45 nm quad or dual core, you will simply have to be patient.
